Our team got involved with Obsbot a few months before the launch in January, we worked tirelessly over the holiday season to get the project up to a point of launch.
The product is an AI camera that aims to replace the cameraman, you could set Obsbot down and it would automatically follow you.
We built a sales funnel for the project and drove traffic using Facebook, Google, Quora, and Reddit. We managed to build a sizable email list of around 10,000+ before launching the project.
Obsbot managed to get favorable press and virality from a number of publications including The Verge, CNET, VentureBeat, Forbes, NewAtlas and more.
The project raised over $80,000 on day one and went on to raise a total of $408,000 on Kickstarter.
